Drives both data pulls: METARs (36 h) and PIREPs within 50 NM (36 h) from aviationweather.gov.

PIREP station prefix

A PIREP is credited to this facility only when its raw text begins with this prefix (auto-derived from the airport ID; edit if your feed differs).

PIREP altitude ceiling (FL)

PIREPs above this flight level are excluded — they're outside your airspace and don't satisfy the solicitation requirement. CVG default: FL200. Lower it for facilities with lower airspace.

METAR hour filter — midnight-shift traffic exclusion (Zulu)

Some facilities have no traffic during certain midnight-shift hours. The METARs still publish and may show PIREP-required conditions, but with no aircraft airborne a PIREP is impossible — those hours would unfairly flag Non-Compliant. Tap an hour to exclude it from evaluation. Default: all 24 hours evaluated.

Hour keys and observation times are Zulu. Routine METARs at :50–:59 are credited to the following hour; when two :50+ observations map to the same hour, the one closest to the top of the hour is evaluated and the older one is rolled up (not double-counted). Archive data is stored locally in this browser per facility.
